It is generally recommended that you visit the dentist once or twice a year, whether or not you have health problems. In many places, this visit is called a "checkup and cleaning". The technical name is dental prophylaxia and, along with brushing your teeth and using dental floss at home, it is one of the most important things you can do to keep your mouth in good health. This treatment allows care for the inflamed or infected part of the tooth or up to the alveolar bone. Using our instruments and modern techniques and appropriate medication, the internal area of the tooth is completely disinfected. In order to avoid any risk of reinfection, we carry out a hot obturation of the root using Gutta-percha. With this endodontic treatment, the interior of canals are sealed against any bacterial penetration and the pain disappears completely. This small block of composite resin or ceramic the colour of teeth fills a dental cavity. Once the tooth is prepared, an impression is taken to manufacture it. The onlay is then glued to the tooth.
